Acceptance of the bases
The mere participation in this contest and festival implies the acceptance of its guidelines in all its terms, without reservation or exclusion, as well as the express acceptance of the interpretative decisions made by BB&R (and their partners in the framework of the project: European Migration Film Festival: 2018-1-ES02-KA105-011321). Recognition as a valid participant is subject to compliance with the requirements established in these rules and guidelines.
In case of any indication of abusive, fraudulent conduct or not subject to the requirements of these rules, the organisers reserve the right to penalise or disqualify the participant and/or affected work, as well as the withdrawal of the prize, in case there is already been granted.
Modification of the call bases
The clauses of these contest and festival guidelines may be modified depending on the development of the contest, always ensuring the ultimate purpose of the European Migration Film Festival (2018-1-ES02-KA105-011321) project: It has been identified that in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Spain, there is a scarce production and diffusion of films that give visibility to the positive aspects of migration. This Film Festival hopes to contribute to transforming the perception that EU citizens have about migration and refugee. The above is extremely important, in order to generate a better climate of coexistence, union, respect, cooperation and a sense of belonging (as European values seek). Likewise, BB&R is empowered to resolve any contingency not foreseen in these bases.
Applicable Legislation and Jurisdiction
This contest is governed by current legislation in Spain. For any discrepancy or litigation that arises in relation to the same, the Courts and Tribunals of Salamanca will be exclusively competent, expressly renouncing the participants in the same to their own jurisdiction, if different from the one agreed here.
